However, the diet used is an important and determining factor between success or failure in our attempt to slim down.
Metabolism Specialist Frank Suarez, dedicated his life to the development of a diet system that does not forbid any foods, and that can be easy to follow if you have a general knowledge of what foods help you slim down, and those that are fattening. If you understand that the body can only get fat when excess insulin is produced, you will know that the goal of a diet should be to regulate insulin production.
If we select those foods that slim you down (type A), and those that make you fat (type E) as part of our diet, and we know how to serve them correctly on a plate, meaning more foods that produce the least insulin reaction in our body, (type A) and less of the ones that produce the most insulin reaction in the body (type E), then we will begin to slim down.
We call this system The 2x1® or 3X1® Diet.
Any diet regime that reduces insulin production will make you reduce body fat, or in other words, it will make you slim down.
If you have too much fat to lose, or if you’re in a hurry to slim down, then the 3x1® Diet is your best choice. By following it, you make sure that the type E foods will never amount to more than one fourth of your total consumption.
The 3x1® Diet produces less insulin in the body than the 2x1® Diet because it contains less of the E type foods. For diabetics, the 3x1® Diet is ideal because it controls blood glucose levels and helps them control their diabetes. It can also reduce insulin needs for diabetics who take insulin injections.

The first thing you need to understand is that we are not all the same, nor do we all have the same needs.
There are 2 types of nervous system, the Excited Nervous System in charge of fighting or running and the Passive Nervous System in charge of relaxing, resting and digesting. The ideal state, for any of us, is a state of BALANCE between both types of system.
Your 2x1® Diet or your 3x1® Diet will work best for you if you take these factors into consideration, and choose your type A foods (the slimming ones) and your type E foods (the fattening ones) according to your type of nervous system.
That is, with the 2x1® Diet or the 3x1® Diet, you determine the proportions you will consume between type A and type E foods, and with the type of nervous system of your body, you determine which types of proteins you should consume: beef or pork or reddish fish-such as salmon or tuna-which are high in fat; or chicken, turkey or white fish which are lower in fat, etc. In other words, knowing what your dominant nervous system type is, allows you to fine-tune the selection of foods that make up your 2x1® Diet or 3x1® Diet, in order to get the best possible results and speed up your metabolism.

There can be no such thing as a "balanced diet" no matter how much we are told about it. One would have to ask oneself: balanced for whom, if we are not all the same? What may be an appropriate food for someone, may also be a poison for another person.
So the food for both types of nervous system is different. Those with a passive nervous system have more carnivorous bodies, need to eat red meat often, and benefit from a higher fat intake. Those with excited nervous system bodies get fat when they eat fat, red meat or salt. We are not all the same!
It is impossible to improve any health condition if you do not do something like the 3×1® or 2x1® Diet, because all type E foods that are refined carbohydrates, have the characteristic of converting into glucose, and glucose produces insulin, which damages your metabolism and slows it down.
If you are one of those who want to restore your metabolism completely, exercise and not give up while attempting it, you must correctly combine your 3x1® or 2x1® Diet.
Hydration is very important, the formula that we have used very successfully and that is explained in the book The Power of Metabolism, is that you take the weight of your body, if that weight is in pounds you divide it by the number 16, if it is in kilograms you divide it by 7 and so you get the number of glasses of water of 250 ml or 8 ounces that you should drink per day.
No weak/poor vitamins, in the book The Power of Metabolism, you will find a chapter called Vitamins or Weak/Poor Vitamins, which basically talks about the waste of money, the expense that a person makes when investing on vitamins that do not have the necessary potency. Always remember to take potent vitamins.
Movement is life, if you want to obtain excellent results while doing your 3x1® or 2x1® Diet, you have to combine it with exercises that help your metabolism. Do not try it abruptly but in intervals, little by little, in order to accelerate your metabolism while you slim down.
