End of nightmares:
How to improve rest from the metabolism.
Nightmares are not always just a matter of the mind. In many cases, they can reflect what is going on in the body. And one of the least considered areas when we talk about rest is the metabolism.

Metabolism is the process by which the body transforms food, oxygen and water into cellular energy. When this process is not working properly, the body starts sending signals: lack of energy, difficulty sleeping... and in some cases, restless dreams or recurring nightmares.
Everything in the body is energy, even thoughts. If that energy is not flowing steadily, there can be disruptions during rest that manifest as disturbing dreams.
What could be affecting your rest?
There are several factors that could play a role:
-
Eating a late dinner or heavy meals before bedtime.
-
Excessive screen time at night (cell phone, TV, computer).
-
Accumulated stress or difficulty relaxing before bedtime.
-
Nutritional deficiencies, especially of certain B vitamins.
-
An altered metabolism that does not produce energy efficiently.
What can you do?
To promote a more restful sleep, we suggest you try a simple routine:
๐ Eat a light dinner at least 2-3 hours before bedtime.
๐ต Avoid screens during the last hour of the day
๐ Take a warm bath or do some deep breathing.
๐ง Stay well hydrated during the day
๐ If you need it, support yourself with a good supplementation: it has been observed that a lack of vitamin B1 and other B complex vitamins may be related to a lower quality of rest.
Sometimes, improving sleep does not require big changes, but small adjustments that help the body return to its natural balance.
Getting good sleep is also part of taking care of your metabolism.
If nightmares are frequent and affect your quality of life, we suggest you also look at how your metabolism is working.
