Femme Balance™ Progesterone Cream may help keep a woman's estrogen levels under control to balance her hormonal system, prevent the accumulation of fat in the abdomen and hips, and have a better quality of sleep*. Progesterone is a cream that is spread on thin skin areas, morning and night.
Some women have difficulty or are slow to lose weight when there are hormonal imbalances in their body between the hormones estrogen and the hormone progesterone. Estrogen is produced primarily by the ovaries and by body fat. An excess of body fat will produce an excess of the female hormone estrogen. The more fat the body has, the more estrogen there will be.
Hormones work well only when they are in balance. When the woman's body produces enough estrogen, and yet does not produce enough progesterone to balance estrogen production, a condition of ESTROGEN DOMINANCE occurs, which manifests itself with one or more of the following indicators:
- Accumulation of fat in the hips and abdomen (belly)
- Difficulty or slow losing weight
- Lack of energy or ongoing tiredness
- face hair
- Edema (accumulation of water)
- hair loss
- Painful menstruation or cramps
- Very light sleeper or difficulty sleeping
- Loss of Libido (sexual interest)
- History of breast or uterine cancer
- History of vaginal fibroids, adenomas, or polyps
- excess menstrual blood
- Difficulty conceiving
- Auto-immune conditions such as: Lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia
- Recurrent candidiasis (resistant yeast infections)
- Sensitivity in the breasts (breast tenderness)
Natural progesterone cream can be used to balance the hormonal system since it provides a progesterone hormone that is the same as the one the body produces naturally. On the other hand, the advantage with this natural hormone is that there are no "side effects" related to the amount of progesterone used.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
The recommended doses and their use will depend on: if the woman is menstruating regularly, if she is menstruating irregularly, or if she has already reached her menopause.
MEASUREMENT OF EACH DOSE: Each dose should be equal to one squeeze of the progesterone pump. Each (1) squeeze of the pump is equivalent to or teaspoon of progesterone.
Application of natural progesterone cream:
The cream is applied to areas of the body where the skin is thinner such as the face, neck, behind the ears, armpits, groin (between the legs), backs of the knees, palms of the hands, wrists and forearms. The application area should be rotated for more uniform absorption.
IF YOU STILL HAVE MENSTRUATION: You should use two doses a day (morning and night). Progesterone cream is used for 21 days of the month. In the menstrual cycle day number #1 is the first day of bleeding. It begins to be used on the first day of bleeding (day #1) and is used for 21 consecutive days. Then it is rested from its use and it is not used again until the first day of bleeding (day #1) of the next month arrives again.
MENOPAUSAL or IRREGULAR: Women with an irregular menstrual cycle, excessive bleeding, or who have already stopped menstruating (menopausal) should permanently use the cream for 21 consecutive days with the difference of the month for a break from it. They can use progesterone using calendar days. That is, they start using progesterone on the 1st of each month and finish using it on the 21st of each month. Two (2) doses per day (morning and evening) are used.
Notes for the menopausal woman: For menopausal "fevers", "hot flashes", or night sweats, use a double dose of two (2) pump squeezes two (2) times a day for continued relief. . Because natural progesterone causes the body's cells to become more sensitive to estrogen that is still produced by the body, a return of menstruation may be experienced in some cases of recent menopause. For vaginal dryness, one (1) to two (2) daily doses can be applied inside the vagina. This can be done in addition to the regular dose.
