    The Importance Of Classifying Foods For Weight Loss

    Food is one of the most important pillars in the process of losing weight, as you probably already know.


    However, if you think that food is the same as a diet, we inform you that you are in error, because it is a much broader topic!

    There are different food groups, and they are:


    • Grains

    • Vegetables

    • Fruits

    • Dairy

    • Proteins and carbohydrates


    All of them are indispensable and necessary for a balanced diet, and the most important thing is to include all of them in the right amounts.

    It is crucial to understand that the right diet for one person may not be the right diet for another, and this is something we want you to be very clear about.


    Some people need to consume more carbohydrates or protein, while others may find that dairy is heavy for them, although some are not affected at all. The food you choose depends a lot on the type of metabolism you have:


    • Excited

    • Passive

    To begin with, you should know that at NaturalSlim® we classify foods into two groups: A and E.


    • A foods are slimming and metabolism friendly foods.

    • E foods are fattening and are enemies of the metabolism.


    Let's talk about A foods


    Among them are:


    • Proteins: chicken, beef, fish, turkey, seafood.

    • Vegetables: spinach, broccoli, lettuce, beet, watercress, carrots, eggplant, kale, ginger, cauliflower, radish, etc.

    • Nuts: almonds, cashews, pistachios, etc.

    • Good fats: butter, avocado, olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, etc.

    • Dairy products: cheeses, vegetable milks such as almond and coconut milk, yogurt, kefir, etc.

    • Fruits: green apple, strawberries, lemon.

    • Beverages: green juices, water, coffee, mineral water, unsweetened tea.

    Among the E foods we can find:


    • Fruits: papaya, pineapple, mango, pear, orange, tangerine, grapefruit, melon, watermelon, etc.

    • Carbohydrates: oats, quinoa, beans, broad beans, chickpeas, corn, lentils, etc.

    • Refined carbohydrates: pasta, rice, bread, tortillas, cakes, desserts, etc.

    • Dairy products: cow's milk.

    • Sugar: chocolates, refined sugar, etc.

    • Beverages: fruit juice, soft drinks, flavored milk, milkshakes, etc.

    Although we classify foods into those that help you lose weight and those that don't, it does NOT mean that you will never be able to eat an E food again. What we are looking for is to inform you so that you consume them in the correct portion, and for that we recommend the 3x1 Diet®.


    This eating plan, more than a temporary diet, is designed for you to adopt in the long term. It consists of dividing all your daily dishes into 4 portions, of which 3 must include A foods, and only 1 portion can contain E foods. For example:


    • 1 serving of protein (meat, chicken, turkey, fish or seafood).

    • 1 serving of salad

    • 1 serving of your favorite vegetable soup

    • 1 serving of type E foods, which can be anything from a natural carbohydrate such as oatmeal or beans, to your favorite type E dessert or beverage.


    As long as you maintain a serving of E foods, you will be successfully carrying out your 3x1 Diet®. Combined with other tools such as hydration, exercise and NaturalSlim's vitamin and mineral supplementation®, you will guarantee success in your weight loss process!


    There is something very important to know!


    You must adjust your diet according to the type of metabolism you have. For example:


    • Those with an excited metabolism should avoid fats and include more vegetables, salads and white proteins such as chicken, turkey or fish.

    • For those with a passive metabolism, we recommend including more fats and red meat to activate the metabolism and achieve the perfect balance. Foods such as butter, beef and pork will be ideal for them.
